Many boats come with sleeping arrangements. If this includes yours, you’ll want to keep an eye on when you need a boat mattress replacement. Most boat mattresses will last longer, because they’re used less. But they’ll be just as uncomfortable to sleep on if you’re not taking the proper care of it or checking to see when it’s time for a replacement.

Yacht cushions are another example of boating foam that may need to be replaced. Unlike mattresses, the cushions of a yacht see much more of the outside world and thus will need replacing much more often.

Lastly, don’t forget about the driver’s chair. No matter how humble your vessel might be, there’s always a spot to sit for the captain. Do yourself a favor by regularly checking on the foam and replacing it if need be. Your time out on the water won’t be any fun if you can’t sit down comfortably.
