The Differences Between Fake Turf Grass And Artificial Grass

Article submitted by www.ArtificialTurfSupply.com

While fake turf grass isn’t commonly heard of to most people, there are some obvious differences between the two.

1)      The pricing is obviously going to be different. When it comes to turf, you usually will have a lot more area to cover as they aren’t commonly used in residential homes. The pricing will be far more expensive for turf than it would be for grass.

2)      The area that’s needed to be covered is different as well. Residential soil is what makes home for grass but when it comes to turf, this is usually done over concrete at stadiums or for sporting events.

3)      Grass while easy to walk through is a host for bugs and other kinds of critters. Turf doesn’t give this option as it doesn’t have blades that are long enough for bugs or insects to live in. Also, since it’s synthetic, it can’t grow weeds or attract any kind of other plants to it, it’s an inhospitable environment.

So apart from having residential artificial grass, there’s also corporate artificial turf as well. Artificial grass turf isn’t as commonly known as the former but it’s still a common thing for sporting events and coliseums. It’s not easy finding good artificial turf supply companies because not a lot of people have a demand for or experience in the field but there are a really good few bunch of them out there. It will just depend on what you’re looking for and what you need.
