Cost Cutting Tips for Winter

I appreciate the guest post, Lindsay Valdez
There are simple cost cutting tips we can use every day of our life to protect our home, bodies and vehicles. ALWAYS carry a cell phone in your clothing, even if you are just shoveling your driveway.

Clothing
Layer clothing to include a well insulated coat (with a hood), a scarf, hat, gloves and boots. Always wear tank tops or t-shirts under clothing if outdoors. Layer socks if you will be outside for long periods of time.
Home
Stocking our pantries with non perishables for a few days could mean the difference between driving in a storm or enjoying a dinner while waiting the storm out a day or two. Blow dry plastic over windows to retain heat while cutting cost. Roll rugs to fit at the bottom of doors. When you do have to leave, do not forget to set your home alarm from http://www.securitychoice.com before leaving as break-ins happen even in sub zero weather.
Vehicles
Keep a shovel, cat litter, work gloves (larger than normal size) and an old rug in your trunk during winter months. Cat litter and the old rug may provide enough traction to get your car moving again. A shovel may be needed in more severe cases. Work gloves will provide an extra layer of protection for your hands while you are getting your vehicle unstuck.

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..”, comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
The standard chunk of Lorem Ipsum used since the 1500s is reproduced below for those interested. Sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 from “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” by Cicero are also reproduced in their exact original form, accompanied by English versions from the 1914 translation by H. Rackham.
